The Virtues and Benefits (Significance and importance) of reciting Surah Al-Baqara (Complete Surah) 3 Ahadith presented below
(Hadith-1) Abu Umama said he
heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say:
Recite the Qur'an, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an
intercessor for those who recite It. Recite the two bright ones, al-Baqara and
Surah Al 'Imran, for on the Day of Resurrection they will come as two clouds or
two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite
them. Recite Surah al-Baqara, for to take recourse to it is a blessing and to
give it up is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it.

(Hadith-2) An-Nawwas b. Sam'an
said he heard the Apostle (ﷺ) say:
On the Day of Resurrection the Qur'an and those who acted according to it will
be brought with Surah al-Baqara and AI 'Imran preceding them. The Messenger of
Allah (ﷺ)
gave examples of them (i.e Surah al-Baqara and AI 'Imran) to three things,
which I did not forget afterwards. He (the Holy Prophet) describe the examples
to two clouds, or two black canopies with light between them, or like two
flocks of birds in ranks pleading for one who recited them.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
Do not make your houses as graveyards. Satan runs away from the house in which

(Hadith-1)
Narrated Abu Mas'ud:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If somebody recited the last two
Verses of Surat Al-Baqara at night, that will be sufficient for him."

(Hadith-2) Ibn 'Abbas reported
that while Gabriel was sitting with the Apostle (ﷺ) he heard a creaking sound above him. He
lifted his head and said:
This is a gate opened in heaven today which had never been opened before.
Then when an angel descended through it, he said: This is an angel who came
down to the earth who had never come down before. He greeted and said: Rejoice
in two lights given to you which have not been given to any prophet before you:
Fatihat al-Kitab and the concluding verses of Surah al-Baqara. You will never
recite a letter from them for which you will not be given (a reward).

(Hadith-3) It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah (b. Umar) that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was taken for the Night journey, he was taken to Sidrat-ul-Muntaha, which is situated on the sixth heaven, where terminates everything that ascends from the earth and is held there, and where terminates every- thing that descends from above it and is held there. (It is with reference to this that) Allah said:
" When that which covers covered the lote-tree"
(al-Qur'an, Iiii. 16). He (the narrator) said: (It was) gold moths. He (the
narrator further) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was given three (things): he was given five
prayers, be was given the concluding verses of Sura al-Baqara, and remission of
serious Sins for those among his Ummah who associate not anything with Allah

(Hadith-4)
Abu
Dharr (radiyallaahu ‘anhu) that the Prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihi wassallam)
said: “I was given the last two verses from Sooratul-Baqarah from the
treasure that is just beneath the Throne that was not given to a Prophet before
me.” (Saheeh)

(Hadith-5) Narrated An-Nu'man bin Bashir:
that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Indeed Allah wrote in a book two
thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, and He sent
down two Ayat from it to end Surat Al-Baqarah with. If they are recited for
three nights in a home, no Shaitan shall come near it." (Hadith Sahih)

Al-Kursi
(Verse 255-Surah Al-Baqara ) –
4 Ahadith given below
(Hadith-1) Ubayy b. Ka'b said:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: O Abu' al-Mundhir, do you know the
verse from the Book of Allah which, according to you, is the greatest? I said:
Allah and His Apostle (ﷺ) know best. He again said: Abu'l-Mundhir, do
you know the verse from the Book of Allah which, according to you, is the
greatest? I said: Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal.
Thereupon he struck me on my breast and said: May knowledge be pleasant for
you, O Abu'l-Mundhir!

(Hadith-2) It was narrated from
Qasim Abu Umaamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah
(blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: The Greatest Name of
Allah, if He is called by which He will respond, is in three Surah: (Al-Baqarah
–Ayat Al Kursi 2/255);( Al 'Imran 3/163)and Ta-Ha 20/20/111). (Hasan)

(Hadith-3)
Narrated Abu Huraira: (Note-This is only a portion of Very long
Hadith) Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) asked, "What are they?" I replied,
"He said to me, 'Whenever you go to bed, recite Ayat-al-Kursi from the
beginning to the end ---- Allahu la ilaha illa huwa-lHaiy-ul-Qaiyum----.' He
further said to me, '(If you do so), Allah will appoint a guard for you who
will stay with you, and no satan will come near you till morning. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He really spoke the truth,
although he is an absolute liar. Do you know whom you were talking to, these
three nights, O Abu Huraira?" Abu Huraira said, "No." He said,
"It was Satan."

(Hadith-4) Narrated Abu Imama (RA) narrated Prophet (ﷺ) said;
Whoever recites Ayat Al-Kursi after each prescribed prayer (salah), there will
be nothing stranding between him and his entering paradise except death.(Sahih)

سورۃ البقرۃ (مکمل سورت) پڑھنے کے ۳ تین فضائل

اللہ ربّ العالمین کا یہ فضلِ عظیم ہے کہ اس نے اپنے بندوں کواپنی رحمت ومغفرت کے اسباب مہیا کیے ہیں ۔ ان میں سے ایک سبب سورۃ البقرۃ کے فضائل ہیں۔
حدیث (1) ابو امامہ باہلی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی
اللہ علیہ و سلم نے فرمایا: سورت بقرہ کی تلاوت کیا کرو؛ کیونکہ سورت بقرہ کو یاد
کرنا برکت ہے، اور اسے چھوڑ دینا حسرت ہے، جادو گر اس
پر غالب نہیں آ سکتے

حدیث (۲) نواس بن سلیمان کلابی بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ
علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قیامت کے دن قرآن مجید اور اس پر عمل کرنے والوں کو
لایا جائے گا، ان کے آگے سورہ بقرہ اور سورہ آل عمران ہوں گی، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ
علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان سورتوں کی تین مثالیں بیان فرمائیں جن کو میں آج تک نہیں
بھولا، فرمایا وہ ایسی ہیں جیسے وہ بادل ہوں یا دو سیاہ سائبان ہوں جن کے درمیان
نور ہو، یا صف باندھے ہوئے پرندوں کی دو قطاریں ہوں وہ سورتیں اپنے پڑھنے والوں کی
وکالت اور حمایت کریں گی۔) یعنی قیامت کے دن اللہ تعالیٰ ایک مخلوق
پیدا فرمائے گا جو بادل، سائبان یا پرندوں کی قطاروں کی طرح ہوں گی اور قرآن پڑھنے
والوں اور قرآن پر عمل کرنے والوں پر سایہ کریں گی(۔

حدیث (۳) ابو ہریرہ
رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم نے فرمایا: تم اپنے گھروں
کو قبرستان مت بناؤ، بیشک شیاطین اس گھر سے بھاگ جاتے ہیں جہاں سورت البقرہ پڑھی
جائے

حدیث (1) ابومسعود عقبہ بن
عمرو انصاری بدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم
نے فرمایا:”جوشخص رات کو سورۃ البقرۃ کی آخری دوآیات پڑھ لے گا ، وہ اس کو کافی ہوجائیں
گی۔(متفق علیہ)

کافی ہونے کامطلب یہ ہے کہ( ١لف) یہ شیطان کہ شرانگیزیوں
سے حفاظت دیں گی۔
(ب) ۔ناگہانی مصائب اورآفات سے بچاؤ کا ذریعہ ہوں گی۔
(پ)۔ نماز ِ تہجد سے کفایت کریں گی
حدیث (۲) سیدناابنِ عباس
رضی اللہ عنھما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ایک دن جبرئیل(علیہ السلام ) ،نبیِ اکرم صلی اللہ
علیہ وسلم کے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔ ناگاہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے
ایک آواز سنی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سرمبارک اوپر اٹھایا۔ جبرئیل(علیہ السلام
)نے کہا : یہ آسمان کا ایک دروازہ ہے، جسے صرف آج کھولا گیا ہے۔ آج سے پہلے کبھی
نہیں کھولاگیا۔ پھر اس سے ایک فرشتہ نازل ہوا۔ جبرئیل(علیہ السلام )نے فرمایا: یہ
فرشتہ جوآج اُترا ہے، آج سے پہلے کبھی نازل نہیں ہوا۔ اس فرشتے نے سلام کیا اورکہا:
آپ کوان دو نُوروں کی بشارت ہوجوآپ کو دئیے گئے ہیںاورآپ سے پہلے کسی نبی کو نہیں
دئیے گئے ۔ ایک سورہئ فاتحہ اوردوسرا سورۃ
البقرۃ کی آخری آیات ۔ آپ ان میں
جو حرف بھی پڑھیں گے ، اس کا مصداق آپ کومل جائے گا۔

حدیث (۳) سیدنا
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے
ہیں کہ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو معراج کرائی گئی تو تین چیزیں دی گئیں:
(1) پانچ نمازیں (2) سورۃ البقرۃ
کی آخری آیات اور(3) شرک کے سوا آپ
کی امت کے لیے تمام گناہوں کی معافی۔”(صحیح مسلم

حدیث (۴) سیدنا حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ
صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مجھے سورۃ
البقرۃ کی یہ آخری آیات عرش کے
نیچے خزانے سے دی گئی ہیں۔ ان جیسی آیات نہ پہلے کسی کو ملی ہیں اورنہ بعد میں کسی
کو ملیں گی۔ (صحیح) اس حدیث ِ مبارکہ کوامام ابنِ خزیمہ رحمہ اللہ (٢٦٤)اورامام
ابنِ حبان رحمہ اللہ (٦٤٠٠) نے ”صحیح” کہا ہے۔(السنن
الکبرٰی للنسائی : ٨٠٢٢، وسندہ، حسن) (مسند احمد
21564 بروایت ابوذر غفاری رضی اللہ
عنہ)
حدیث (۵) سیدنا نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنھما سے روایت
ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
”اللہ تعالیٰ نے آسمانوں اورزمین کی پیدائش سے دو ہزار پہلے ایک
کتاب لکھی۔ اس میں سے دوآیات نازل فرمائیں، جن کے ساتھ سورۃ البقرۃ
کا اختتام فرمایا۔ جس بھی مکان میں یہ آیتیں دن راتیں پڑھ دی جائیں ، شیطان
اس میں ٹھہر نہیں سکتا(صحیح )

وقال : حسن غریب ، مسند الدارمی : ٢/٤٤٩، المستدرک علی الصحیحین للحاکم :
١/٥٦٢،٢/٢٦٠، وسندہ، صحیح]؛ اس حدیث کو امام ابنِ حبان رحمہ اللہ (٧٨٢)اورامام
حاکم رحمہ اللہ نے ”صحیح” کہا ہے ۔ حافظ ذہبی رحمہ اللہ نے ان کی موافقت کی ہے۔

حدیث (1)
کتاب
اللہ کی سب سے عظیم آیت ۔ حضرت أبی بن
کعب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے وہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ
وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا:اے ابومنذر؛کیا تو جانتا ہے کہ کتاب اللہ کی کونسی سب سے
عظیم آیت تیرے پاس ہے ؟میں نے جوب دیا ؛اللہ تعالی اور اسکے رسول زیادہ جانتے ہیں
؛آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پھر فرمایا ؛اے ابو منذر ؛کیا تو جانتا ہے کہ کتاب الہی
کی کو نسی سب سے عظیم آیت تیرے پاس ہے ؟حضرت
ابی بن کعب کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے جواب دیا :اللہ لاالہ الا ھو الحی القیوم : [یعنی
آیت الکرسی] پس آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے [اپنے دست مبارک سے]میرے سینے پر مارا اور فرمایا :ابومنذر تجھے علم
مبارک ہو۔

حدیث (۲)
اسم
اعظم کی خصوصیت یہ ہے کہ جب اس کی ذریعہ اللہ سے دعا کی
جا ئے تو اللہ تعالی قبول
فرماتا ہے۔
ابو امامہ سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺنے فرمایا:
’’اسم اعظم تین سورتوں میں ہے : (سورۃ بقرہ ۔آیت الکرسی 2؍255)،(سورۃ آل عمران ۳؍۱۶۳) او رطہٰ ۲۰؍۱۱۱ )۔ قاسم کہتے ہیں جب میں نے ان سورتوں میں تلاش کیا تو وہ ’’الحیُ القیوم ‘‘ ہے (حسن ) )حاکم1؍505) (ابن ماجہ 3856
.
حدیث (۳)
جب
بستر پر لیٹو تو آیت الکرسی پڑھ لو۔ صبح تک شیطان تمہارے
قریب بھی نہیں آ سکے گا
(یہ حدیث ایک
طویل حدیث کا جزء ہے) ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا
کہ ۔۔۔۔۔ آپ ﷺ نے دریافت کیا کہ
وہ کلمات کیا ہیں ؟ میں نے عرض کیا کہ اس نے بتایا تھا کہ جب بستر پر لیٹو تو آیت
الکرسی پڑھ لو ، شروع «الله لا إله إلا هو الحي القيوم» سے آخر تک ۔ اس نے مجھ سے
یہ بھی کہا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے تم پر ( اس کے پڑھنے سے ) ایک نگراں فرشتہ مقرر
رہے گا ۔ اور صبح تک شیطان تمہارے قریب بھی نہیں آ سکے گا ۔ صحابہ خیر کو سب سے
آگے بڑھ کر لینے والے تھے ۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( ان کی یہ بات سن کر
) فرمایا کہ اگرچہ وہ جھوٹا تھا ۔ لیکن تم سے یہ
بات سچ کہہ گیا ہے ۔ اے ابوہریرہ ! تم کو یہ بھی معلوم ہے کہ تین راتوں سے تمہارا
معاملہ کس سے تھا ؟ انہوں نے کہا نہیں ۔ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ
وہ شیطان تھا

حدیث (۴) ہر
فرض نماز کے بعد۔
ابو امامہ سے روایت
ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺنے فرمایا
جو شخص ہر فرض نماز کے
آخر میں ( یعنی بعد میں) آیت الکرسی پڑھتا ہے تو
اسے جنت میں داخل ہونے سے موت کے علاوہ
کوئی چیز نہیں روکتی ۔(حدیث صحیح)
(امام نسائی کی السنن الکبریٰ (ح9928 )) اسے
ابن حبان نے بھی صحیح قراردیا ہے(جامع صغیر 6464)
