A mulim cannot be a terrorist

A Muslim cannot be a terrorist
The opposite meanings (antonyms) of Terror are security, safety, protection, peace, harmony. When we hear muslims are terrorist it's a matter of total surprise. Whoever says this, he is telling the opposite and putting the false allegations on muslims. For a common person’s understanding I have collected  16 facts and attempted to explain that, “A muslim cannot be a terrorist” because Muslims follow the divine religion of Allah, the creator of humanity and everything in the universe.

(1) The Divine religion of Islam is a religion of peace, mercy, tolerance, kindness and benevolence. One of the attributes and good names of Allah is Al-Salaam which means peace. Another good name of Allah is Al-Mo'min (Peace Giver). How could a muslim be terrorist when he follows the divine religion.

 (2) Muslims follow the book of Allah “Al-Quran”, which teaches mercy and love  Indeed in that is a mercy and reminder to those (people) who believe.”
          [Surah Al-Ankabut 29/51]

(3) Muslims are Ummah of Prophet Mohammed Rasool Allah (Peace be on him) Almighty Allah describes prophet Mohammed (pbh) as
"We have not sent you but as a Mercy for all creation."
        [Quran Surah Al-Anbiya 21/108]

The best nation cannot be terrorist
Almighty Allah says Muslims as the best nation;
(4)  “You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah.”
        [Surah Al-Imraan 3/110]

(5) The teachings of Islam call all Muslims to show mercy and kindness to every innocent and poor person. Prophet Mohammed (pbh) said:
The merciful and kind people will receive the Mercy of the Merciful Lord Allah, the Almighty. “Be merciful to people on earth, and Allah, the Almighty, Who is in Heaven, will grant you His Mercy.” (Tirmidthi)

Exellence of promoting greetings (Salam)

(6)The islamic greetings of "Peace be upon you." Rather, it means
"You are secure from being ill treated."
Muslims greet one another by saying the fuller version, which has been taught by the Prophet(pbh): 'As-Salamu Alaikum wa rahmatul'laah' i.e. “May Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon you, and His Mercy.”
(7)  “But when you enter houses, give greetings of peace upon each other – a greeting from Allah, blessed and good.”
        [Surah An-Nur 24/61]

(8)  And the last of the Messengers of Allah Mohammed (peace be on him) said:
“Offer food generously to others, initiate the greeting of “peace” amongst yourselves to those whom you know and those whom you do not know.”
        (Bukhari 8/253.2 & Muslim)

Righteous people are noble they cannot be terrorist
(9)    “Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you.
        [Surah Al-Hujurat 49/13]

Enjoining good and forbidding evil and oppression
Muslims are commanded to pursue every appropriate means that lead to enjoining good and forbidding evil, based on one's ability, knowledge, and position of authority, in order to secure peace, tranquility and stability in the society and community and counteract against oppression,

(10)       “Indeed, Allah orders justice, good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids all indecent deeds, evil and rebellion. He instructs you, that you may receive admonition
         [Surah An-Nahl 16/90]

When ignorant talk rudely, Muslims say words of Peace
(11)  How could muslims be terrorist when they face evil people or illiterates who use even bad language, muslims says peace and moves away from there.
a)      “And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace (safety," i.e., words free from fault or evil.) “
         [Surah Al-Furqan 25/63]

b)       And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, "For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace will be upon you; we seek not the ignorant."
         [Surah Al-Qasas 28/55]

Justice and Peace
(12) Islam encourages Social Justice and Peace. Social justice in Islam extends to even to those who are not related; such as the neighbors, orphans and the needy.

Do not trouble and commit mischief on earth
(13)  Allah the Almighty says:
"Do not commit mischief on the earth after it has been set in order, and call on Him (Allah in prayer) with fear and hope (longing desire) : “for the Mercy of Allah is always near to those who do good.”
         [Surah Al-A'raf 7/56]
Muslims are not oppressors
(14)  Abu Dharr(RA) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said:
“My servants, I have made oppression unlawful for Me and unlawful for you, so do not commit oppression against one another.”
     (Muslim Bk 32: 6246)

Family security
If one lacks peace and health, the treasures of the whole world will be of no use because the heaps of wealth cannot provide peace of mind to one, nor can it make one enjoy sound health.
(15) Ubaidullah bin Mihsan Al-Ansari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH)said,
"Whosoever begins the day feeling family security and good health; and possessing provision for his day is as though, he possesed the whole world.''
      [At-Tirmidhi].
Peacemaking
(16) a)    And if they (your opponents) incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah.”
           [Surah Al-Anfal 8/61]
b)  ….and making peace is better.”
          [Surah An-Nisa  4/114]
c)         “The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.”
[Surah Al-Hujurat 49/10]
d) Narrated Um Kulthum bint `Uqba: That she heard Allah's Apostle (pbh) saying,
"He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar."
         [Bukhari 3/857]
Conclusively, a muslim pursues his life to seek the pleasure of Allah which is in peace By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace (security, well-being, integrity and escape from Hellfire. Literally, "freedom from all evil.")
