Urinary Track Infections (UTI)

Urinary tract consists of the (see Anatomy below)
(1) kidneys (2) ureters (3) bladder and
(4) urethra (end point last) which process and expel urine from the body.

Treatment without Antibiotics

 (1a) Warm Water- Drinking some luke warm water on an empty stomach every morning can be quite helpful in killing UTI-related bacteria. (1b) Normal Water & Juices- Drink lot of normal room temperature water & juices to flush out bacteria. This helps get rid of the infection faster. It also dilutes your urine, so urinating may be less painful.

(3) urinate often -Frequent urination helps eliminate the infection by moving bacteria out of the bladder. “Holding it,” or not going to the bathroom when you need to, allows time for the bacteria to continue multiplying in the bladder. It may also be helpful to urinate after having sex. Sexual activity can push bacteria deeper into the urethra in both men and women.
(4) Turmeric-
contains curcumin, the active agent that has strong detox, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.  A 1999 study published in the "Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry" found that curcumin was effective in killing a variety of strains of bacteria.

Additionally, a 2009 article published in the journal "Food Chemistry" found that the antibacterial action of curcumin was effective in killing both Staphylococcus aureus and E. coli bacteria, which commonly causes UTI. Turmeric is the liver’s favorite spice and helps boost liver detox.

(6) Ginger-Antimicrobial properties of ginger tea can be very powerful against a number of bacterial strains. Ginger is one of the most effective home remedies for UTI. Chewing ginger, drinking ginger juice or ginger tea can be effective in treating UTIs.

(7a) Radish White-it helps to treat urinary and kidney disorders,

(7b) D-Mannose-Cranberry, apple, oranges, peaches, and blueberries  juice (D-Mannose supplement is made by cranberry juice, powder/capsule 600mg/day form) 

(8a) Bottle Gourd (Kaddu)(کدو) (or white gourd, marrow, calabash or long melons, Kaddu, Lauki).
Take the fresh bottle gourd juice & squeeze the fresh lime in it & mix both & take it orally. It is a best remedy for the urinary infections.
(8b) How to make juice of Bottle Gourd (Kaddu)(کدو) Take the fresh bottle gourd & peel the skin of the veggie & make the bottle gourd into small pieces. Take those pieces into juicer & make them as juice. Filter the juice from the waste. [Bottle gourd juice helps to reduce the weight. It is used to counter stomach acidity, ulcers, indigestion, fatigue, excessive thirst. Bottle gourds are also found in low calorie diets. The juice of bottle gourd is very good for the health with a lot of medicinal properties.]
(8c) Diuretic -Bottle gourd helps to increase the volume of urine along with the increased secretion of electrolytes. This will help flush out toxins from your body

Warning- Remember that the bottle gourd consumed must not taste bitter as the bitter vegetable contains toxins harmful to the human body. Bitter bottle gourd can lead to poisoning, discarding is advised.

(8) Garlic - Allicin, one of the active principles of freshly crushed raw garlic, has a variety of antimicrobial activities. In its pure form, allicin has been found to exhibit antibacterial activity against a wide range of bacteria, including multi-drug-resistant strains of E. coli. Garlic also has antifungal properties, particularly against candida albicans, which causes yeast infections.

(9) Apple cider vinegar is enriched with antibacterial properties. (10) Clove oil.
