The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Du’a is

verse of QURAN.
And your Lord said: "Invoke Me,
[i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islamic Monotheism) and ask Me for anything] I
will respond to your (invocation). Verily! Those who scorn My worship [i.e. do
not invoke Me, and do not believe in My Oneness, (Islamic Monotheism)] they
will surely enter Hell in humiliation (Surah Al-Momin 40;60)
Beautiful Names of Allah

Indeed Allah Almighty listens all the time and is fully aware of the protection of the servants and their condition. He is never unaware. But Almighty Allah, by His Grace and Blessings, has guided some special noble times for His worship Through His Prophet (ﷺ). We thank Allah Almighty for all these blessings upon us. All the supplications given in this article are either thru’ SAHEEH or HASAN Ahadiths. Hence we must ask during the accepted times. The scholars have mentioned that if you find yourself in any of the situations below, it is ideal for your dua to be accepted, moreover, it is the sunnah of our Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ)
There are many times and places where du’aa’ is answered. There follows a summary thereof:
Situations Times and places when dua is accepted
1- Dua immediately after
wudu (Eight gates of Paradise are opened for him)
Umar ibn Al-Khattab reported that the
Prophet (SAW) said: 'There is not one of you that makes wudu, and does it
perfectly, then says:
I testify that there is no diety worthy of
worship except Allah. He is Alone, having no partners. And I bear witness that
Muhammad is His slave and messenger', except that the eight gates of Paradise
are opened for him, and he can enter into it through whichever one he pleases' (Sahih)
[Muslim #234, abu Dawud #169,
Ahmad, an-Nasa'I 151]

'Umar b. al-Khattab reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
When the Mu'adhdhin says: Allah is the
Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and one of you should make this response:
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; (and when the Mu'adhdhin) says: I
testify that there is no god but Allah, one should respond: I testify that there
is no god but Allah, and when he says: I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger
of Allah, one should make a response: I testify that Muhammad is Allah's
Messenger. When he (the Mu'adhdhin) says: Come to prayer, one should make a
response: There is no might and no power except with Allah. When he (the
Mu'adhdhin) says: Come to salvation, one should respond: There is no might and
no power except with Allah, and when he (the Mu'adhdhin) says: Allah is the
Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, then make a response: Allah is the Greatest,
Allah is the Greatest. When he (the Mu'adhdhin) says: There is no god but

and Allah gave me God's Messenger (ﷺ) in exchange. She said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent Hatib b. Abu

(Allāhumma lā ilāha illā ant, al-Mannān,
Badī`us-samāwāti wal-arḍ, Dhal-Jalāli wal Ikrām).”
So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Do you know what he has supplicated
Allah with? He has supplicated to Allah by His Greatest Name, the one which if
He Is called upon by it, He responds, and when He is asked by it, He gives.” (Sahih)
[Tirmizi vol 6/3544-Book 48 Hadith 175-Chapter Supplications-Kitab Al-Dawaat]
38-Greatest name of Allah dua (الأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ)
`Abdullah bin Buraidah Al Aslami narrated from his father, who
said: “The Prophet (ﷺ) heard a man supplicating, and he was saying:
‘O Allah, indeed, I ask you by my testifying that You are Allah, there is none
worthy of worship except You, the One, As-Samad, the one who does not beget,
nor was begotten, and there is none who is like Him
(Allāhumma innī as’aluka bi annī ashhadu annaka antallāh, lā ilāha
illā ant, al-aḥaduṣ-ṣamad, alladhī lam
yalid wa lam yūlad, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad).”
He said: “So he said: ‘By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, he has asked Allah
by His Greatest Name, the one which if He is called upon by it, He responds,
and when He is asked by it, He gives. (Sahih)
[(Tirmizi – vol 3/3475-Book 48 Hadith 106-Chapter Supplications); (Al-Hakim
1/504)]
39-Greatest name of Allah dua (الأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ)
Hanzalah bin 'Ali narrated that:
Mihjan bin Al-Adra' narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered the masjid and there was a man who
had finished his prayer and he was reciting the tashahhud. He said:
"Allahumma inni as'aluka ya Allah!
Bi-annakal-Wahidul-Ahad us-Samad, alladhi lam yalid wa lam yowled, wa lam yakun
lahu kufuwan ahad, an taghfirali dhunubi, innaka antal-Ghafurur-Rahim
(O Allah, I ask of You, O Allah, as You are the One, the Only, the
Self-Sufficient Master, Who begets not nor was He begotten, and there is None
equal or comparable to Him, forgive me my sins, for You are the Oft-Forgiving,
Most Merciful.)" The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "He has been forgiven,"
three times. (Sahih)
