Adultery - Zina (illegal sexual intercourse) is an EVIL way
Throughout the
world and in most religions, the act of adultery has been considered a crime. Any illegal sexual intercourse between a man and a woman is subject to
a severe punishment prescribed by the Islamic Shari’ah.
Islam has taken a firm and decisive stance against Zina (fornication or adultery). Allah, the Almighty, commands;
1) “Those
who love (to see) scandal (Slander, shameful act) published broadcast among
the Believers, will have a grievous Penalty in this life and in the
Hereafter: Allah knows, and ye know not.” [ Qur’an chapter 24/19 ]
2) “O you who believe! Follow not the footsteps
of Shaitan (Satan). And whosoever
follows the footsteps of Shaitan (Satan), then, verily he commands Al-Fahsha'
[i.e. to commit indecency (shameful acts), and Al-Munkar [disbelief and
polytheism (i.e. to do evil and wicked deeds; and to speak or to do what is
forbidden in Islam)]”
[ Qur’an
chapter 24/21]
3) “Allah commands justice, the doing of
good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that you may receive admonition.” [ Qur’an chapter 16/90]
4) “And come not near to unlawful sex (adultery). Verily, it is a Fahishah (i.e. anything that transgresses
its limits: a great sin), and an evil way” [ Qur’an chapter 17/32]
5) “Verily,
As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every
kind,) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil
wicked deed) and the remembering (praising) of Allah (in front of the angels)
is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising) of Allah in prayers. And
Allah knows what you do.” [ Qur’an chapter 29/45]
6) Secret lovers (opposite
sex friends like girl friend and boy friend ) are unlawful in Islam. Read [ Qur’an chapter 5/5]
Storm of
Stones: Prophets Luts people (Nation of prophet
Lut) had a practice of sodomy and homosexual rape of males. Allah punished
them in their life time, it is
described in Quarn.
1) “Verily, We sent against them a violent storm of stones (which
destroyed them all), except the family of lut (Lot), them We saved in the last
hour of the night,”
[ Qur’an chapter 54/34]
2) “And indeed they
have passed by the town [of Prophet lut
(Lot)] on which was rained the evil rain. Did they (disbelievers) not then
see it (with their own eyes)? Nay! But they used not to expect any
resurrection.” [
Qur’an chapter 25/40]
3) “And (remember)
Lut (Lot), when he said to his people: "Do you commit the worst sin such
as none preceding you has committed in the 'Alamin (mankind and jinn)?”
[ Qur’an chapter 7/80]
Other
Kinds of Punishments for sinners in this worldly life :--
[Awful Cry, earth swallowed, drowned in Water, violent Wind etc.]
1) “So We punished
each (of them) for his sins; of them were some on whom We sent Hasib (a
violent wind with shower of stones) [as on the people of lut (Lot)], and of
them were some who were overtaken by As-Saihah [torment - awful cry. (as
Thamud or Shu'aib's people)], and of them were some whom We caused the earth
to swallow [as Qarun (Korah)], and of them were some whom We drowned [as the
people of Nuh (Noah), or Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his people]. It was not Allah
Who wronged them, but they wronged themselves.” [ Qur’an chapter 29/40]
